• Place the heating base on a firm and level surface.

• Insert the plug into a wall socket.
• Put the on/off switch to its ‘ON’ position to start the heating process, the indicator lamp will Light up.
• As soon as the water reaches boiling point the on/off switch return automatically to the ‘OFF’ position, the indicator lamp will go on The water kettle can also be switched off manually by putting the on/off switch to the ‘OFF’ position.
• This kettle is equipped with a safety cut out to protect the appliances from damage in case of inappropriate use should the appliance be accidentally operated without water or if all the water has evaporated the safety cut out will automatically switch off the heating element.
• In such a case remove the plug from the wall socket immediately and refill the kettle only after an adequate cooling down period, about 15-20 seconds.
  
• Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.
• Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.
• Do not immerse the base of the kettle in any liquid, to clean the exterior, slightly damp, lint free cloth may be used.
• It is advisable to remove lime deposits from the kettle at regular intervals.

This Lee Star Kettle is fully warranted against any defect arising out of defective materials or faulty workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in this product, the customer should bring the product along with this warranty card to nearest authorized service centre, where the company undertakes to get the product repaired.

Warranty is not valid if :

– The use and care instructions have not been followed.

– Defects are caused by accident, misuse, faulty handling, commercial use or damage in transit.

– The repair work is carried out by persons not authorized by the company.

– Any modification or alteration of any nature is made to the product.

– Normal wear & tear or the product is not covered under warranty.

– The bill/cash memo and copy of warranty card is not presented.
