Product Description

This jar can be used to perform all type of blending, liquidizing & wet grinding operation such as preparation of lassi , milk shakes , purees, juices , Idli  & dosa batter etc.

  • Fill the jar with the solids to be liquidized such as tomatoes or watermelons and fit the jar into the main unit.
  • Put the Dome Assembly on to the jar. Put the dome cap into place.
  • If needed more water can be added by removing dome cap.
  • While using ensures that the dome/lid has securely locked all sides.
  • While using hold the lid with hand and press it down firmly on the jar, ensuring that the lid has locked securely from all sides.
  • Now switch on the mixer for under a minute and you will get finely blended juices and purees.

NOTE: –   Always ensure Dome lid and Dome Cap are in place before starting.

Use incher button for better results.

Use the handle of the jar for pouring out the contents.

This jar can be used for grinding items like Coffee beans, Coconut chutney, groundnut, sugar, palak etc.

  • Fill the jar with the ingredients, up to 2/3 of capacity of the jar and add some water as per the desired quantity.
  • Put the lid on the top of the jar and fit it onto the main unit.
  • Put the Dome Assembly on to the jar. Put the dome cap into place.
  • While using, hold the lid with hand and press it down firmly on the jar, ensuring that lid has locked securely from all sides.
  • Grind at a low speed for about 15 sec. And then move to higher speeds. Keep adding water till you achieve desired consistency.

NOTE: –   Always ensure Dome lid and Dome Cap are in place before starting.

Please add the water as and when required.

Start from lowest speed and increase gradually.

This jar can be used to grind small quantities of cumin, dhania, coconut, green chilly, pepper, garam masala etc.

  • The substance to be ground should not be too large. Cut/ break ingredients into smaller pieces.
  • Put the ingredients to the ground in the chutney jar.
  • Put the flat lid on top of the jar and fit it onto the main unit.
  • Place the chutney jar on the main unit through the jar base.
  • While using, hold the lid with hand and press it down firmly on the jar, ensuring that lid has locked securely from all sides.

NOTE: – Do not add too much water while using this jar.

Do not run the mixer continuously as it tends to rob ingredients of the flavor – thus short spurts would be preferable.

While dry grinding, friction may heat up the jar, this is not abnormal.

Installation & Usage

Before you start the mixer grinder for the first time or after a long period of non- usage:

  • After unpacking the mixer grinder, wash the jars and blades with mild detergent and dry it thoroughly.
  • Rotate the motor shaft by hand to ensure that it turns freely & smoothly. Make sure the unit is not connected to the electric supply source.
  • Before fixing the jar to the main unit, rotate the jar coupler to ensure that it turns freely
  • Each jar comes fitted onto an aluminum/ plastic base that has to be fitted onto the main unit. Hold the base and rest it on the main unit.
  • Plug the power cord in the electric supply socket & switch the power ON.
  • The speed of operations are marked as 1/2/3 in increasing order of speeds. Incher shall be used for momentary operation.
  • Do not touch the jars with bear hands immediately after using the mixer.

WARNING:  Do not run the mixer grinder unless lid is in place and held firmly with hand.

  • After each use it is highly desirable to wash and thoroughly clean the jars blades and the lids.
  • Firstly remove the power plug form the electric supply socket. Gently detach the jar from the main unit.
  • open the lid and empty the contents.
  • To remove the blade assembly, use a spoon to stop the blade from rotating and use Spatula to gently loosen/unscrew the plastic dome nut of blade assembly in clockwise direction. The jar can be cleaned using some warm soapy water. Then rise with clean water & wipe dry with a soft damp cloth.
  • Do not immerse the main unit in water. The main unit can be cleaned using a damp cloth.
  • Cleaning is easy & best done immediately after use.
  • Do not operate or touch the unit when smoke/burnt smell is observed.

    WARNING: Be sure to switch off your Mixer Grinder after use. Wait until the blades come to a halt before removing the cover.

Safety Guidelines
  • For the same reason, do not operate the device close to wash basin, do not operate it with humid hands and do not place it in on wet ground.
  • Do not operate outdoors.
  • Never leave the appliance unattended if it is connected to the supply line.
  • Do not allow children to handle the MG.
  • Keep the machine away from direct heat and sunlight, at a suitable height on a flat surface for easy operation.
  • Do not touch the moving parts and blades when the mixer grinder is in operation.

  • Before running the machine ensures that the jars and lids are firmly placed and locked. Do not remove or replace jars when the motor is on.
  • While operating run the machine in short cycles of 30-90 seconds as per requirement, do not run it for a long duration.
  • Wide voltage fluctuations during operation may affect the quality of grinding, the motor may still be safe. It is safer to use a MG only when you get steadier voltage in your area.
  • Do not run the MG empty.
  • Do not overload the machine.
  • In case of smoke or smell put off the machine.
Warranty

This Lee Star Mixer Grinder is fully warranted against any defect arising out of defective materials or faulty workmanship for a period of once year on product & 2 years on motor from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in this product, the customer should bring the product to the nearest authorized service provider, where the company undertakes to get the product repaired.

 

This warranty is not valid if:

  • The use and care instructions have not been followed.
  • Defects are caused by accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use or damage in transit.
  • Plastic parts are not covered under this warranty.
  • The repair work is carried out by persons not authorized by the company.
  • Any modification or alteration of any nature is made in the product.
  • Normal wear & tear of the product is not covered under warranty.
  • The Bill/Cash memo and copy of warranty card is not presented.
  • Under no circumstances, whether based on limited warranty or otherwise shall the company be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages.
