If necessary add water replace the lid and start grinding.

DRY GRINIDING

  1. For dry grinding ensure that the ingredients are dry from moisture, shallow fried or roasted in oven.

This will help to increase the life of your motor coupler and jar bearing. Also during continues dry grinding, the heat is generated is enormous. It may take away the flavour and nutrients of the ingredients.
  3. While grinding sugar or salt never run the mixer for too long, the sugar will get melted due to overheating and stick to the blade. This will cause seizing of the job. Empty the jar and pour water into jar and run the mixer for about a minute or so to clean the melted sugar to the spindle.
